Mookaite (also known as Mookaite or Mooka Jasper) is mineralogically a jasper (SiO₂, Mohs hardness 6.5–7, trigonal crystal system) – a sedimentary rock formed approximately 120 million years ago from radiolarian skeletons. The name is derived from the Aboriginal word "mooka" (running water) and refers to Mooka Creek in Western Australia, where Mookaite is exclusively found. The 6 mm beads display characteristic warm earth tones – red, yellow, beige, cream, burgundy, and brown – in a balanced size suitable for everyday wear.

Significance in Crystal Healing

Mookaite is considered a stone of vitality, a sense of adventure, and inner balance.
