The essential oil Ocotea is extracted from the trunk and leaves of the Ocotea tree in Ecuador and belongs to the cinnamon genus. This essential oil has an aroma that differs significantly from that of conventional cinnamon. Of all essential oils, Ocotea has the highest percentage of alpha humuls.
