White agate, or peace agate, is the stone of peace, kindness, and tolerance. It increases empathy toward others and alleviates aggression and malice. It promotes balance and calm and can alleviate the fear of being alone.

White agate is considered in literature to be a protective stone during pregnancy and is said to increase the milk flow of breastfeeding mothers.
Agates are quartz minerals of the chalcedony group and form in cavities in volcanic rocks. The gradual solidification and drying process creates the layered patterns typical of agate. The white variety of agate is called peace agate. Peace agate often exhibits a pure white color, although the color is often achieved through subsequent dyeing and bleaching.
