Andean opal pink bracelet tumble

Andean opal (also Peruvian opal) is a rare gemstone from the Peruvian Andes. Mineralogically, it belongs to the opal group (SiO₂·nH₂O, amorphous, Mohs hardness 5.5–6.5). Unlike classic opal, it does not display a play-of-color, but instead captivates with its delicate, pastel pink and peach tones, which are created by natural mineral inclusions. The tumbled stones are polished smooth by machine tumbling, creating a pleasantly soft surface. Each stone is unique due to its natural coloring. Origin: Peru (Andes).
