Amber is one of humanity's oldest gemstones and, strictly speaking, is not a mineral but fossilized tree resin—formed 30 to 90 million years ago. Baltic amber in particular, also known as the "gold of the Baltic Sea," has been collected and crafted in the Baltic region for millennia. This necklace features tumbled amber beads in their most pristine, organically grown form—in a harmonious multicolor play of colors from honey yellow to reddish brown.
