The stones

Orange garnet (hessonite/spessartine): Garnet is a group of silicate minerals. Orange garnet is either hessonite (grossular garnet) or spessartine (Mn₃Al₂Si₃O₁₂). Mohs hardness 6.5–7.5. The orange coloring is caused by manganese and iron content. The name is derived from the Latin "granatum" (pomegranate). Origins: Sri Lanka, India, Brazil, Madagascar.
Green apatite: Calcium phosphate mineral, Ca₅(PO₄)₃(F,Cl,OH), Mohs hardness 5. The green coloring is caused by traces of manganese. The name comes from the Greek "apatao" (to deceive). Origins: Brazil, Mexico, Madagascar, Russia.
Citrine: Quartz variety (SiO₂), Mohs hardness 7. The yellow-orange coloring is caused by traces of iron. The name is derived from the French "citron" (lemon). Origins: Brazil, Madagascar, Spain.
