Brecciated Jasper beaded bracelet, 8 mm faceted

Brecciated jasper is a variety of jasper that belongs mineralogically to the chalcedony group (SiO₂, microcrystalline). Mohs hardness 6.5–7. The characteristic breccia-like patterns are created by angular rock fragments that have been rejoined by a natural binding agent. The faceted cut enhances the natural luster and emphasizes the unique patterns and earth tones of the large 8 mm beads. Significant deposits: Brazil, India, Madagascar, Australia, Russia, USA.
