Chalcedony pendant

The light blue chalcedony, the "speaker's stone," stands for communication, strengthens eloquence and self-expression, and also helps one to listen and understand.
Healing stone literature associates chalcedony with the larynx area, including the thyroid and vocal cords. It is also said to support the kidneys and bladder. Chalcedony is also used for hoarseness, colds, and allergies.

Color: pastel light blue to medium blue

Blue chalcedony, also called chalcedony agate in its banded form, consists of microscopically small fibers that run parallel to each other. Macroscopically, chalcedony often exhibits radial and stalactite forms.
The chalcedony probably got its name from an ancient city on the Bosporus.
Deposits are found in Brazil, India, Africa and Madagascar, among others.
