Its soft pastel blue makes chalcedony one of the calmest gemstones of all. It consists of microscopic, parallel quartz fibers – also known as chalcedony agate in its banded form – and often displays radially fibrous and stalactitic shapes to the naked eye. It was likely named after the ancient city of Chalcedon on the Bosporus. This pendant is set in 925 sterling silver.
Stone size: approx. 19 x 27 mm
Cut: cabochon, polished
Setting: 925 sterling silver
Color: pastel light blue to medium blue

The soft, matte surface of the chalcedony appears calm and timeless – ideal as a pendant for a silver chain or as a harmonious accent in handmade jewelry.

Significance in crystal healing
Chalcedony is considered a stone of communication and self-expression. It is said to strengthen the gift of gab, help with listening and understanding, and is associated with the throat area. In traditional crystal healing, it is also mentioned for use with hoarseness, colds, and allergies.
