Gemstone Bracelet Iolite, Apatite and Goldstone with Shamballa Clasp

This handmade bracelet combines three special materials: iolite (violet-blue), apatite (blue-green), and goldstone (warm golden luster). The Shamballa clasp makes the bracelet adjustable and gives it a spiritual character.

The Gemstones

Iolite: Cordierite group, (Mg,Fe)₂Al₄Si₅O₁₈, Mohs hardness 7–7.5. Iolite exhibits fascinating pleochroism – it appears violet-blue, gray, or yellowish depending on the angle of view. Historically, Vikings used thin slices of iolite for navigation (sun compass). The name is derived from the Greek "ios" (violet). Locations: Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Brazil.
Apatite: Calcium phosphate mineral, Ca₅(PO₄)₃(F,Cl,OH), Mohs hardness 5. Apatite is the main component of bones and teeth. The name comes from the Greek "apatao" (to deceive). Locations: Brazil, Mexico, Madagascar, Russia.
Goldstone: Not a natural stone, but an artificial glass (Venetian tradition, Murano, 17th century) with embedded copper crystals that create the characteristic golden shimmer. This is stated transparently.

Significance in Crystal Healing

Iolite is considered a "stone of vision" – it is said to promote intuition, creativity, and the brow chakra. Apatite is considered a stone of motivation – it is said to support growth, communication, and the throat chakra. Goldstone is considered positive and uplifting – it is said to strengthen self-confidence, energy, and the solar plexus chakra.
