The Tree of Life is based on Gustav Klimt's design for a three-part mosaic series created between 1905 and 1911 for the Palais Stoclet in Brussels – known as the Stoclet Frieze. The characteristic intertwined branches have been artfully incorporated into the design of this bead, while the artist's name and years of birth and death adorn the ends of the roll.
