Fluorite is also called fluorspar. Its name comes from the Latin word "to flow." It is one of the minerals with the greatest color diversity: colorless, yellow, green, blue, and violet, and, of course, multicolored as rainbow fluorite.
It has been found in China, Argentina, India, Europe and the USA.
