Garnet Bracelet 6 mm faceted

Garnet is not a single mineral species, but a group of silicate minerals with various colors. The red varieties – almandine (Fe₃Al₂Si₃O₁₂) and pyrope (Mg₃Al₂Si₃O₁₂) – are the most well-known and were popularly referred to as "carbuncle." Mohs hardness 6.5–7.5. The name is derived from the Latin "granatum" (pomegranate) – the red crystals resemble pomegranate seeds. The faceted cut of the 6 mm beads enhances their natural radiance. The knot is concealed under a silver bead. Significant deposits: India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Brazil, Austria (Radhausberg).
