Moonstone bead bracelet 3 mm faceted

Moonstone is mineralogically an alkali feldspar (orthoclase-albite solid solution, (K,Na)AlSi₃O₈), Mohs hardness 6–6.5, monoclinic crystal system. Its unmistakable feature is adularescence – a soft, milky shimmer created by light refraction on the finest, parallel-arranged feldspar layers within the crystal. White moonstone exhibits a particularly pure, clear adularescence with a milky-white to silvery shimmer. The faceted cut of the delicate 3 mm beads further enhances this play of light. The knot is concealed under a silver bead. Locations: Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Myanmar.
