Light grey moonstone bead bracelet 8 mm

Moonstone is mineralogically an alkali feldspar (orthoclase-albite solid solution, (K,Na)AlSi₃O₈), Mohs hardness 6–6.5, monoclinic crystal system. Its unmistakable characteristic is adularescence – a soft, milky shimmer created by light refraction on the finest, parallel layers of feldspar within the crystal, reminiscent of moonlight. The large 8 mm beads showcase this play of light particularly impressively. The knot is concealed under a silver bead. Locations: Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Myanmar, Tanzania.

Significance in crystal healing

Moonstone is considered a protective and lucky stone for women, closely linked to female cycles and intuition.
