Blue goldstone bead bracelet, 4 mm faceted

Goldstone is not a natural stone, but a synthetically produced art glass (Venetian tradition, Murano, 17th century). Blue goldstone is created by adding cobalt (deep blue) and copper filings, which crystallize during cooling to produce the characteristic golden sparkle. The faceted cut of the 4 mm beads enhances the magical play of light – the golden inclusions twinkle like stars in the night sky. The knot is concealed under a silver bead. Production: primarily Italy and China.
