Rhodonite bead bracelet, 5 mm, faceted

Rhodonite is mineralogically a manganese-calcium silicate (MnSiO₃ with Ca components), Mohs hardness 5.5–6.5, triclinic crystal system. The name comes from the Greek "rhodon" (rose) – the name is derived from its characteristic pink to red color, which is caused by manganese. The black veins of manganese oxide that run through the pink and make every stone unique are typical. In ancient times, rhodonite was considered a protective stone for travelers. The faceted cut of the delicate 5 mm beads enhances the warm pink – intricate and suitable for everyday wear. The knot is hidden under a silver bead.
