Lapis Lazuli bead bracelet 3 mm faceted

Lapis Lazuli is mineralogically a metamorphic rock – a rock mixture of lazurite ((Na,Ca)₈(AlSiO₄)₆(S,SO₄,Cl)₁₂, blue), pyrite (FeS₂, golden inclusions), and calcite (CaCO₃, white veins), Mohs hardness 5–6. The faceted cut of the delicate 3 mm beads enhances the deep royal blue and makes the golden pyrite inclusions sparkle with every movement. Historically, Lapis Lazuli was revered by the ancient Egyptians as a sacred stone and placed in the burial chambers of the pharaohs for protection. Major deposits: Afghanistan (Badakhshan, mined for over 6,000 years), Chile, Russia, Pakistan.

Lapis Lazuli is considered a stone of wisdom, truth, and spiritual enlightenment.
