Moonstone belongs to the feldspar group and is closely related to labradorite. Its characteristic feature is the so-called adularescence – a soft, blue to whitish shimmering light that seems to glide across the surface when the stone is rotated. Moonstone was revered as the stone of the moon and the goddess in antiquity and was considered a protective stone for travelers in many cultures. The white tumble beads (approx. 5–7 mm) have an organic, natural shape – each bead is unique and gives the strand a gentle, casual character. The pure white with the typical moon glow shimmer appears particularly delicate and timeless.
