Peridot, 2.5 mm faceted bead strand

The beautiful olive-green color has given this stone its name, olivine. Peridot deposits can be found in Egypt, Burma, China, Norway, Pakistan, and the USA. Peridots of good purity are rare and therefore somewhat more expensive.
