Prehnite Bracelet Tumble

Prehnite is mineralogically a calcium aluminum silicate (Ca₂Al(AlSi₃O₁₀)(OH)₂), with a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5 and an orthorhombic crystal system. The stone owes its characteristic bright green color to its iron content; it often exhibits a slight translucency, giving it a special, soft luster. Prehnite was one of the first minerals to be named after a person – Baron von Prehn discovered it in the 18th century at the Cape of Good Hope. Among the Aboriginal people of Australia, it is considered the "stone of eternal youth." The tumble stones are gently tumbled and polished – each displays its own unique natural shape.
