Rose quartz is one of the best-known quartz varieties and derives its characteristic pink hue from microscopically fine inclusions of rutile needles or trace amounts of titanium in the crystal lattice. The faceted tumble beads combine the organic nature of a tumbled stone with a lively play of light – each bead is unique in shape and size. The delicate pink of the rose quartz is shown to particular advantage, appearing fresh and vibrant due to the facets.
