Significance in crystal healing
In crystal healing, sapphire has been considered a stone of inner clarity and calm since ancient times. Hildegard von Bingen described its effect on the nerves and mind as early as the Middle Ages. It is said to have a nerve-strengthening and calming effect. These attributions are based on long-standing tradition and are not scientifically proven. They do not replace medical treatment.
