Shungite Pendant Tumble 40x20 mm – Karelia

Shungite – also spelled Shungit – is a black carbonaceous rock consisting of pure carbon, which originated from ancient algae. Depending on the quality, it exhibits a more or less pronounced metallic luster. It primarily comes from the Shunga region in Karelia, Russia, which also gave it its name. This pendant is finished as a tumble (tumble-polished) and has a pre-drilled hole for threading directly onto a chain.

The tumble cut makes this pendant an uncomplicated everyday companion – simply thread it onto a leather cord or silver chain. Shungite pyramids, spheres, and plates made of shungite are also used for energizing rooms.
