Shungite Pendant Tumble 35x25 mm – Karelia

Shungite – also spelled shungit – is a black carbon rock made of pure carbon that originated from ancient algae. Depending on the quality, it has a more or less pronounced metallic luster. It originates predominantly from the Shunga region in Karelia, Russia, which also gave it its name. This pendant is finished as a tumble (tumble-polished) and has a pre-drilled hole for threading directly onto a chain.

The tumble cut makes this pendant an uncomplicated everyday companion – simply thread it onto a leather cord or silver chain. Shungite pyramids, spheres, and plates are also used to energize rooms.
