Shungite (also spelled shungit) is mineralogically a Precambrian rock with a carbon content of up to 98%, which formed approximately 2 billion years ago in Karelia (Russia). Its special feature: it contains naturally occurring fullerenes (C₆₀ and higher), a unique carbon structure that was not discovered until 1985. Mohs hardness approx. 3.5–4. The 8 mm beads showcase its deep black color and natural luster in an expressive way – balanced between being striking and suitable for everyday wear.

Significance in crystal healing

Shungite is considered a stone of grounding, protection, and harmonization. It is said to protect against electromagnetic fields, harmonize energy, and ground the user.
