Shungite – also spelled shungit – is a black carbonaceous rock made of pure carbon that originated from ancient algae and comes from the Shunga region in Karelia, Russia. The donut (also called a Pi stone) is a classic pendant shape with a central opening that allows it to be threaded onto a leather cord or chain. Each piece is a unique natural item.
