Uncut, natural rough diamond – this strand is something very special. The name diamond is derived from the Greek adamas ("the unconquerable"), as diamonds, with a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, are the hardest natural minerals in the world. In their raw, untreated state, they retain their original energy and radiance. The graduated size from 2.5 to 4 mm gives the strand a natural, organic dynamism.
Diamonds are formed deep in the Earth's mantle under extreme pressure and high temperatures. Significant deposits: Russia, Botswana, Canada, Australia, South Africa.
Meaning in crystal healing
In crystal healing, diamonds represent enlightenment, sublimity, dignity, and strength. Rough diamonds are considered particularly powerful because they have been left in their original form. These attributions are based on ancient tradition and are not scientifically proven. They are not a substitute for medical treatment.
