Sodalite bead bracelet 3 mm faceted

Mineralogically, sodalite is a sodium aluminum silicate chloride (Na₈Al₆Si₆O₂₄Cl₂), with a Mohs hardness of 5.5–6 and a cubic crystal system. The stone owes its characteristic royal blue to sulfur compounds; the white veins are calcite inclusions. Sodalite is often confused with lapis lazuli, but it is a purer blue and contains no pyrite inclusions. Discovered in Greenland only in 1811, it is a relatively "young" gemstone. It rarely exhibits a cat's-eye effect. The faceted cut of the delicate 3 mm beads enhances the natural depth of the blue—the most filigree model in the sodalite collection, ideal for a layering look.
