Mookaite received its name from the Aboriginal people of Australia, who found it at Mooka Creek – "mooka" means "running water" in their language. Mineralogically, it is a jasper-opalite and belongs to the quartz family. Its warm hues, ranging from creamy white to sun yellow to vibrant red and reddish-violet, are created by iron oxide inclusions. Each stone displays a unique color pattern – no two beads are alike. The matte surface particularly emphasizes the stone's natural, earthy beauty. The 6mm beads are ideal for mala necklaces, bracelet beads, and necklaces.
