Rhyolite is a volcanic igneous rock with a high silica content – the effusive equivalent of granite. It forms when silica-rich lava cools rapidly on the Earth's surface. The characteristic patterns in green and brown are created by various minerals and inclusions in the rock – making every bead unique. The polished 6 mm spheres are excellently suited for necklaces, bracelet combinations, and mala beads.
