Aquamarine is presented in this gemstone necklace as a finely faceted 5 mm button chain in delicate light blue to fresh aquamarine blue – with natural shading that gives each stone individual depth. The faceted surface reflects light vividly, lending the clear blue an almost water-like depth. Aquamarine is the light blue to blue-green variety of the mineral beryl (Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈) with a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8. Its color is caused by traces of iron in the crystal lattice.
