Turquoise Necklace Oval 25x18 mm - 925 Silver

This necklace consists of flat oval Arizona turquoise beads measuring 25 × 18 mm. The untreated stones are slightly faceted. The turquoise necklace is approximately 45 cm long and is fastened with a 925 sterling silver lobster clasp.

Turquoise belongs to the phosphate group and is a hydrous copper aluminum phosphate with the chemical composition CuAl₆(PO₄)₄(OH)₈·4H₂O. Its Mohs hardness is 5–6. The opaque mineral has a waxy luster; its color palette ranges from sky blue to green tones, depending on its copper and iron content.
