This gemstone bracelet is strung on elastic rubber. The bracelet size is approximately 18.5 to 19 cm.
Tourmalines come in many different colors. The red variety is called rubellite, for example, and the green one verdelite; the combination of these is called watermelon tourmaline.
The name tourmaline comes from the ancient Sinhalese word "Toramali", which means mixed gemstones and already hints at the variety of different colors that can be found in this mineral.
Each color of tourmaline is attributed with special properties:
Black (schorl) – stands for protection and grounding
Pink to red (Rubellite) - for harmony and heart
Yellow to brown (Dravit) - for creativity and expression
Green (Verdelite) - for nerves and youthfulness
Tourmalines come in almost every imaginable color, including two or even three colors in one gemstone, e.g., the watermelon tourmaline with green and red.
Tourmalines are considered very powerful healing stones and popular, often highly valuable gemstones, such as the intensely blue-turquoise Paraiba tourmaline. The various colors of tourmaline are often worn together in a colorful array of jewelry, thus supporting the healing of the entire body and soul.
