Tourmaline multi bead bracelet 4 mm with silver lobster clasp

Mineralogically, tourmaline is a borosilicate with a complex composition ((Na,Ca)(Li,Mg,Al)(Al,Fe,Mn)₆(Si₆O₁₈)(BO₃)₃(OH,F)₄) and a Mohs hardness of 7–7.5. The name comes from the Sinhalese "toramali" ("mixed gemstones") – fitting, as tourmaline is found in nearly every color of the rainbow. The colors are created by various trace elements: iron for black (schorl), manganese for pink/red (rubellite), chromium/vanadium for green (verdelite), and iron/manganese for yellow/brown (dravite). A special feature: tourmaline is piezoelectric and pyroelectric. This bracelet is strung on wire and fastened with a silver lobster clasp – a high-quality alternative to an elastic band.
