Tourmaline quartz bead bracelet 5 mm

Tourmalinated quartz is mineralogically a rock crystal (SiO₂, Mohs hardness 7) with embedded schorl needles (black tourmaline, NaFe²⁺₃Al₆(Si₆O₁₈)(BO₃)₃(OH)₄). The black tourmaline needles grew into the quartz during its crystallization, creating a fascinating three-dimensional needle structure – every stone is absolutely unique. Tourmaline is piezoelectric and pyroelectric. The 5 mm beads show the needle structure clearly yet subtly. Locations: Brazil, Madagascar, Pakistan.

Significance in crystal healing

Tourmalinated quartz is considered a stone of balance that unites opposites: the clarifying energy of rock crystal with the protective and grounding power of black tourmaline.
