Unakite bead bracelet 8 mm faceted

Unakite is mineralogically not a single mineral, but a rock mixture of three components: epidote (green), quartz (translucent), and feldspar (pink, mostly orthoclase). Mohs hardness approx. 6–7. The pink comes from the feldspar, the green from the epidote – every bead shows a unique color distribution. The modern name is derived from the Unaka Mountains in North Carolina (USA), where unakite was first discovered. The Greek name “Unakis Epidosis” means “growing together” – fitting for this rock mixture. Unakite is formed through the metamorphism of granite. Significance in Crystal Healing

Unakite is considered a stone of emotional balance and growing together. It is said to have a balancing effect, to help in processing trauma and grief, and to strengthen self-healing powers.
