The Oils of Ancient Scripture™ set includes ten oils derived from the most important plants and resins mentioned in the Holy Scriptures—from cypress (Isaiah 44:14) to the "Rose of Sharon" (Song of Solomon 2:1). Breathe in the refreshing scent of myrtle or cedarwood and the full, rich bouquet of frankincense or myrrh. Enjoy the wonderful aromas of these essential oils and learn more about the fascinating stories behind these precious oils.

The Bible Oil Set includes ten individual oils, each containing 5 ml per bottle:

Aloe (Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood): The aloe presented to Jesus by Nicodemus is believed to have been fragrant sandalwood. (John 19:39)

Cassia: Cassia was one of the most important ingredients in the incense used in temple rites. (Psalm 45:8)

Cedarwood: The mighty "cedars of Lebanon" were known for their longevity and were used, among other things, in the construction of Solomon's famous Temple. (1 Kings 4:33)

Cypress: The cypress wood from which this oil is extracted is so durable that the doors of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, made from it, show no signs of decay even after 1,200 years. (Isaiah 44:14)

Frankincense: The Hebrew word for frankincense, "levonah," is mentioned 22 times in the Bible, making it one of the most frequently used terms in the Holy Scriptures. (Song of Solomon 3:6)

Hyssop: Biblical references indicate that hyssop was an essential ingredient in many purification rites. (Psalm 51:7)

Myrrh: As one of the most important ingredients in Moses' holy anointing oil, myrrh was also highly valued by many other biblical figures, such as David and Solomon. (Proverbs 7:17)

Myrtle: Traditionally, myrtle branches are still used during Sukkot (also known as the Feast of Tabernacles). (Nehemiah 8:15)

Onycha: Java incense was one of the ingredients of the "pure, holy" fragrance or incense that Moses prepared on God's behalf. (Exodus 30:34)

Rose of Sharon (Cistus or Rockrose): The rockrose, with its beautiful blossoms and delicate, honey-like fragrance, is likely the plant known as the Rose of Sharon. (Song of Solomon 2:1)
