Although the essential oil of blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) is extracted from small, yellow flowers of the chamomile family, the powerful essential oil acquires a deep blue color during steam distillation. This is due to the naturally occurring active ingredient chamazulene. This rare plant, originally from Morocco, is best known for its use in high-end beauty products.

Recommended use
On skin: Dilute 1 drop with 1 drop of V-6™ or olive oil and apply to the desired area. Aromatic: Diffuse three times daily for up to 30 minutes. Safety information: Keep out of reach of children.
