Idaho Blue Spruce (Picea pungens) trees are grown, harvested, and processed on-site at Young Living Farms in northern Idaho for the essential oil of the same name. The oil contains high levels of the plant compounds alpha-pinene and limonene.

Applied externally, it has a calming effect on strained muscles, while its characteristic woody scent invigorates the senses, calms the mind, and relaxes the body. The aroma can help release emotional blockages and promote harmony and security.

The invigorating and strengthening properties of the blue spruce are also traditionally used in saunas, steam baths and as an additive to baths and massage oils.

Recommended use

Inhalation: Gently breathe in the relaxing scent.
Beauty: Apply one or two drops to your neck for a calming and grounding scent all day long.
Bathing: Run a warm bath, add 6-8 drops and enjoy relaxing moments.
Massage: Relax with a massage using a few drops in 10 ml of Young Living V-6® Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex.
Perfume: Goes great with cedarwood, clary sage or geranium.
