Palo Santo comes from the same plant family (Burseraceae) as frankincense, although it is native to South America rather than the Middle East. Like frankincense, it is known and highly valued as a spiritual plant. The lemony-minty top note can be inhaled directly from the bottle to support a spiritual connection while meditating. Traditionally, the Incas used Palo Santo to purify and cleanse the mind of negative energies. Its Spanish name reflects the tree's high esteem. Palo Santo means "holy wood" or "consecrated wood."

Inhalation: Gently breathe in the invigorating scent.
Beauty: Add a few drops to coconut oil and apply the mixture to dry skin areas.
