Ylang Ylang means "flower of flowers" – and the name says it all. The star-shaped, yellow blossoms of Cananga odorata are harvested early in the morning when their fragrance is most intense. In Indonesia, they are traditionally scattered on the beds of newlyweds. The oil has a sweet, floral, and exotic scent: sensual, calming, and heart-opening.
