Zebra Marble bead bracelet 8 mm faceted

Zebra marble is mineralogically a metamorphic carbonate rock (CaCO₃, calcium carbonate), Mohs hardness 3–4. It is formed by the transformation of limestone under high pressure and temperature. The characteristic black and white stripes are created by various mineral inclusions and impurities during metamorphosis. The name "marble" comes from the Greek "marmareos" ("shining"). Marble was already used in antiquity for sculptures and structures – Michelangelo's David is made of Carrara marble. Locations: Italy, Greece, Turkey, China. Significance in crystal healing
