Bamboo coral is one of the few coral species that are not protected. In its natural form, it is beige to grey in colour and is traditionally dyed and processed as a sustainable alternative to protected red stone and branch corals. The porous, lightweight material absorbs colour particularly well. The warm wild salmon colour gives this strand a natural, earthy appearance. The fancy shape of the individual stones is organic and individual – no two stones are alike.
Bamboo coral mainly comes from the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Note: This strand is made of dyed bamboo coral. The shape and size of the individual stones may vary slightly.
Meaning in healing stone therapy
In healing stone therapy, coral is attributed protective and strengthening properties. It is said to promote joy of life and vitality. These attributions are based on traditional beliefs and are not scientifically proven. They do not replace medical treatment.
